Allievo di Peppi Sanna dal quale prese lezioni sin da ragazzo, si recava a piedi fino a Samatzai, pagando tre starelli di grano all'anno quale compenso per l'insegnamento. Divenne presto un discreto esecutore, limitando le sue esibizioni al suo paese e a quelli limitrofi dove si distinse soprattutto nell'accompagnamento al canto sia profano che religioso non disdegnando i balli domenicali, le processioni e altre feste popolari. La foto lo ritrae mentre accompagna due cantori popolari, Narciso Cadoni (a sn.) e Raimondo Murgia (a ds.), quest'ultimo è stato tra i maggiori esecutori di canto "a sa repentina" (versi estemporanei tipici dell'area campidanese).

He was one of Peppi Sanna's students, he took lessons from, when he was a boy. He used to walk to Samatzai paying three "starelli" of wheat a year in exchange for the teaching. He soon became a fairly good performer, limiting his performances to his village or the neighbouring ones where he distinguished above all in accompanying both public and religious chant not despising Sunday dances, processions and other popular feasts. His photo shows him while accompanying two popular folk singers, Narciso Cadoni (on the left) and Raimondo Murgia (on the right), the latter has been among the major performers of singing "a sa repentina" (extemporary lines typical of Campidano area).
