Il Bentzon lo cita tra i suoi informatori dicendo: "era più un cantante che un suonatore di launeddas, ma in ogni caso un suonatore popolare entusiasticamente attivo". Egli era in effetti uno dei maggiori animatori di un gruppo di giovani che si riunivano nelle bettole per cantare al suono delle launeddas secondo la tipica tradizione di Cabras. Bentzon, among his informers, quotes him saying: "he was a singer more than a player of launeddas, but anyway a popular performer enthusiastically active". He was really one of the most beloved among a group of young people who used to meet in the taverns to sing at the sound of the launeddas according to the typical tradition of Cabras.
