This is a mining centre on the Monte Albo slope. The surrounding area is scattered with caves. On the
mountain that overlooks this village there is the sanctuary of San Francesco which is visited by for
pilgrims
from the 1st to 9th of May on the occasion of the Sagra of San Francesco. Around the Sanctuary there are
the very interesting cumbessias which are humble houses for the pilgrims.
