PULA

This is a historical centre and a seaside resort on the Gulf of Cagliari. Its territory consists of the excavations in Nora which was originally a Phoenician-Punic centre (of which temples, houses, sacrifice area and the Sanctuary of the health Gods are left) and then a Roman centre (temples, three thermal complexes, the Amphitheatre and some houses). In Nora there is also the small Church of Sant'Efisio (XI century) which is the destination of the pilgrims from Cagliari on the 1st on May on the occasion of the Festival of San't Efisio..
