Situated at 50 metres above sea level in a very rich mining area which nowadays is little exploited.
Capoterra was a Nuragic and Roman centre. Capoterra is situated at the foot of the Arcosu mountain which is
a
wild life reserve near Cagliari. The churches of San Gerolamo and Santa Barbara which dates from the second
half of the thirteenth century are very important.
